Come join us for an awesome panel discussion with two amazing speakers, Lisen Stromberg and Noni Allwood, on how to foster a safe, brave, and new space for Women of Color (WOC) to come together in community at a time when we believe our leadership is needed most.

A research was conducted most recently, which included a survey of 1,500 professional women, 1,181 who were Black, Asian, Latina, Indigenous, Middle Eastern or multi-racial, along with 545 white women, on why current Corporate systems fail to enable them to reach their full potential. Lisen and Noni will share insights from the survey during thie event.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Lisen Stromberg is CEO of PrismWork, a workplace culture and leadership consultancy.

She and her team work with clients to help them build next-in-class, 21st century

cultures with the future-forward leaders their companies need to succeed. Lisen is also

a best-selling author, award-winning independent journalist, and in demand speaker

who has been on stage at numerous high-profile conferences including SXSW, TEDx,

and more. She earned her BA at Dartmouth College, has an MBA from UC Berkeley’s

Noni Allwood is a Consulting Partner to Primswork. A recognized expert, consultant, speaker and advocate in the creation of foundational strategies for inclusion and belonging, she has co-authored research focused on the experience of Latinos and Multi-cultural professionals in the workplace: “Cracking the Code” – Executive Presence and Multi-Cultural and “Latinos at Work – Unleashing the Power of Culture.” Most recently, Ms.Allwood was a senior advisor to “PowHer Redefined, Women of Color Reimagining the World of Work”, research focused on the experience of women of color at work.

Prior to her work in Equality, Ms. Allwood held senior technical and operational leadership roles for Cisco, including Strategy & Planning for Cisco in EMEA, integration of acquisitions into Sales Operations and global learning and readiness programs for the Sales organization.

Ms. Allwood has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Centroamericana (El Salvador) and completed the Stanford University School of Business Executive Program.

She was awarded the Inspirational Immigrant Award from Upwardly Global and recognized as one of the “Top 25 Bay Area Women Redefining Success.” She was listed as one of the “Most Influential Latinos in Silicon Valley” by the Mexican American Community Services Agency of San Jose. More recently, she was named one of the “Most Powerful Women of the Bay”, a prestigious award granted by the County of Alameda and the State of California.
